Admittedly it's a bit like playing Spot the Difference - but there has been progress. The blocks are now all certain uniform heights (from 5", 6.25" and 7") which means they will get pieced together in rows before being sewn together as a top. A top of what though??
Some gratuitous close ups!
I love the memories the fabric evokes and whilst I haven't actually used every fabric that is in here I can still recall where it all came from! The story, and the history, of a quilt are something that money just can't buy.
One of me Bee blocks this month was a scrappy 1/4 log cabin so whilst I was sorting through my strings and my scraps I took the opportunity to start a few for myself.
So I am linking up over at Mrs Sew and Sow today and am looking forward to seeing other people's scrap projects on the go or maybe even finished. x
